I have been practicing as a Physical therapist and instructing Pilates for over 20 years. I specialize in women’s health, specifically orthopedic and pelvic floor issues. After suffering from a diastasis recti from my second pregnancy I developed a program incorporating Nutritional Science, Pilates and Physical Therapy to help prevent surgery, heal my diastasis and return to good health without the use of medications.
My passion is supporting women through every stage of life, helping them thrive in their careers and families without neglecting their own health and well-being.

Since her early 20s, Viraj has been deeply committed to health and fitness, both personally and professionally. After graduating from physical therapy school, she turned to yoga to cultivate mindfulness and manage stress—an experience that sparked a lasting passion for breath work and movement. She returned to her home town after to support her parents in taking control of their health. With her guidance, they were able to manage diabetes and arthritis, adopt healthier eating habits, and lose weight—solidifying her belief in the transformative power of lifestyle medicine.
Her introduction to Pilates further deepened her dedication, leading her to complete over 1,500 hours of training and earn her comprehensive certification in 2007. With a strong growth mindset and unwavering curiosity, Viraj began integrating Pilates into her physical therapy practice, helping hundreds of clients restore strength, function, and resilience. She later developed a diastasis recti healing program, grounded in core reactivation and structural balance. She was able to heal from her own diastasis recti, build back her strength and confidence without surgery.
Viraj believes in the power of natural medicine and preventative approaches as essential tools for lifelong vitality. As a healer, she understands that true, lasting change requires healing both mentally and physically. Outside of her clinical work, she’s constantly pursuing continued education in advanced physical therapy techniques, nutrition, and psychology. She finds joy in cooking nutritious meals for her family, spending time in nature, and reading. She currently hosts a book club and is reading “The New Menopause” by Dr. Mary Claire Haver, “Next Level” by Dr. Stacy Sims, and “Atomic Habits” by James Clear For Viraj, movement is medicine—and fitness will always be a priority in her life and in the lives of those she serves.
